The new patented design (US Patent # 6705064) makes interchangeable mouthpiece bit applications possible for any horse. The new clip design makes changing mouthpieces possible in a matter of seconds. There are
no mechanical parts involved. Simply disengage the shank clip and slide the mouthpiece up and over the ring and off the end of the clip.

*Grissom Bits can install the "clip" on an array of shank configurations not shown.

*Bits come with straight chain mouthpiece standard (other mouthpieces on the accessory page can be ordered with the Bit Clip).

Step 1:

Disengage clip loop from shank with thumb.

Step 2:

Slide mouth piece up and around top ring and off clip.

Step 3:

Thread new mouth piece over clip and back down to stop.

Step 4:

Engage clip loop back around shank with thumb.
